I’ve noticed that this practice takes place in the church.  Instead of throwing money at strippers, church folks throw money at the preachers.

Why do folks run up to the pulpit and throw money at the preacher’s feet or place money in the preacher’s hand?

Are they show-boating? Do they “bless” the “man or woman of God” for clout?

Do they believe that by giving the preacher money, they’ll receive that preacher’s anointing?  Or will God give them a double, triple, or quadruple blessing?
