Is the Tithe the Same as Money?

THE FOLLOWING IS a comment from one of our visitors:
›”You taught that the biblical tithe is a tenth of the land produce and not money.  I am not sure you can separate land ownership and land produce from money.
The source of all monies, silver, gold etc. is the land.  So when you tithe the increase or produce of the land this is money in another form.”

Is the tithe another form of money?

Tune in to The Tithing Hoax Podcast as I explain the three reasons why the biblical tithe is not the same as money.

Let’s talk about what the church doesn’t want you to talk about…

Now that was plain. Well explained . Being that the tithe was holy and there were specific instructions on how it was to be given , that would mean that giving 10% of your income serves no purpose. Every man should give as his heart is lead not under compulsion or fear

The tenth is not 10%. A tenth of something or anything is the tenth or 10 of the amount. So if I had 15 cattle & I was required to give a tenth. I would only be giving a away 1 cattle which would be the 10th one out of my 15, leaving me with 14 cattle remaining. Now if I had 25 cattle I would be required to give 2 tenths leaving me with 23 left. If I had 35 cattle, 3 tenths, so on & so forth. Don’t get it mistaken a tenth is not 10% of something. Think about it in number placements. i.e 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th. If you really read the bible particularly the old testament & not take the text out of context which becomes a con & take God for His word because He’s not bipolar or a prankster. If 10% of money is what He commanded us to do, He would be plain, clear, transparent & direct. They had $$$$ in the old testament in the form of gold, silver & bronze. But no where is scripture does He plainly say tithe or give a tenth of your money. He knows how stupid we are. He would be clear as day regarding this manner because He knew how much confusion & division this would cause. There is actually scripture to prove that tithing had nothing to do with money but everything to do with agriculture, produce & the righteous enjoyment of money if the tithe(produce) was to far to carry. A lot people have read this I’m sure but either overlooked it or took it out of context. Deuteronomy 14:22-28…… plain & simple. Why would we exchange money for money????
