Do Full-Time Pastors Need Tithes?

›A READER sent the following comment about the tithe:
The Tithe guarantees meat in God’s house.  I believe this is so full-time priests aren’t left to serendipity, having forsake all other jobs to answer the call.
In this episode of The Tithing Hoax podcast, I cover the following:
  • The meaning of “meat” and “storehouse” in Malachi 3:10
  • Myth of the Full-Time Ministry
  • The Real Church of the Bible
  • Why the call to ministry does not always mean pastoring a church
  • And more…

Let’s talk about what the church doesn’t want you to talk about!

Yes this is so true ,I remember back in the day the pastors use to work a regular job and pastor part-time. They would also visit the sick . Things sure have changed since then. Question does anyone now when or how this prosperity tithing concept began? I’ve done some research but curious to hear what information people may have.

Yes it started with the Word of Faith Movement by E. W. Kenyon. Now it has turn into the Prosperity Gospel. The early TV minister took E.W. Kenyon message and change it into what it is Today. There is a lot of information on the internet and youtube about this false doctrine. I’ve been studying it for awhile myself. It’s basically a recycled tatic that Satan has been using in the church for generations. I love blogs and teachers like R. Renee who expose this false teaching. Many of believers are in bondage behind this false teaching. We have to keep spreading the truth about this false teaching throughout the body of Jesus Christ.
